LION
LION is a successful company from Sveti Nikole, with 80 employees, known оn the market for its production of extremely high quality confectionery.
At the beginning our company was producing only chocolate and chocolate cream, but investments and the effort that we have commit in our work have helped us to expend the range of products that we produce. Today we are known not only for our production of chocolates and chocolate cream, but also for biscuits, small cakes and chocolates bonbons.
QUALITY
Our products are available on the Macedonian market, but also in several countries in the region and Europe. LION products are rewarded with more gold medals at fairs and other prominent events. Confirmation of our commitment to quality is the certificates HACCP, ISO 22000:2005 and HALAL, certificates that we have for more than ten years.
The story of LION began in 1998 with the purchase of machinery for packaging of powdered and granular products from Italy. In 1999 we made a business plan for the purchase of equipment and commencement of production of cocoa cream products. In 2001 LION has participate in the project PRIZMA by the US government and in 2002 under this project, we were chosen for the best offered business project, among 50 companies and organizations. As a reword we received funds for purchasing machinery for packaging chocolates.
PRODUCTS
In the period that followed we focus on development, extending the range of products, conquering the domestic market and animation markets in the region. In March 2004 we moved into a new production plant with an area of 4,000 m2, where new product lines were also installed.
The increases in the product range and winning new markets allow us to realize a steady increase in the volume of production of confectionery products, which currently stands for 2,500 tons per year, with plans to continue this trend in the future.
